Thank you! Because my style of art does not require any intricate handiwork, I zoom in my picture to about 50-100% on Photoshop CS4. Next, follow these easy steps:
Step 1) Draw a line.
Step 2)Erase the line.
Step 3)Repeat steps 1 and 2 until desired result has been achieved.
Step 4) Repeat step 3 until you have an entire picture.
I find that making quick, long, and decisive strokes helps with clean lines, which took a fair amount of practice. Though I can assure you that my lines definitely don’t look as pristine up close and personal!
Though I have never tried this method myself, I’ve heard working with a Pencil tool at a hi-res (600 dpi) does wonders for slick lineart!
