beanpolemonster asked: Do you have any good advice for overcoming art block? What helps you?

I sure do! When at a loss at what to draw, I try to be productive anyways-practicing subjects or things you’d never or rarely have drawn is a good start! I like to be well-rounded and diverse when it comes to the technical side of drawing, and good thing there’s a near infinite amount of things that can be learned. And who knows, something good might come out of your learning experience!

For example, I’m thinking of learning how to draw trains and steam engines in my next block. Which would be beneficial, since there’s gonna be a decent amount of old trains in my comic ‘verse.

Try some new art medium! Give yourself tasks with limits, ie “make a picture using only negative space”. Find a meme exercise on dA to draw! There are so many ways to break an art block, but it’s really up to you as to what to make of it. Hope that helps!
